Who is Eligible?
Patients 19 years of age or older may be eligible for therapy if they have been diagnosed with depression, PTSD, or anxiety, and their condition has not responded to standard medications.
Where do the Sessions Take Place?
Majik Minds is located in Victoria, BC. Your initial assessments and meetings with the team take place virtually. You have the option of online or in person counselling sessions. You and your team will decide between our clinic space and your home for your active psilocybin sessions.
Legality?
Psilocybin and other psychedelic drugs are not currently legal to use. We make no legal claims to provide patients with access to Psilocybin. However, we understand that patients are obtaining it themselves and using it without guidance or medical supervision, which is what Majik Minds hopes to provide. Our service uses the most up to date scientific evidence to provide an environment that combines psilocybin with therapy to help treat certain mental health conditions such as depression and PTSD.
Ketamine is an approved medication for treating certain difficult to control mental health conditions but it can only be provided in an approved location with appropriate health care professionals.
Are Services Covered?
Our services are not covered by MSP. Coverage may be available for patients through Extended Health Care Plans and/or Health Spending Accounts.
